We paid ten dollars for grown steers in Texas; got thirty dollars after driving them two
thousand miles and consuming two years on the trip. After all, I honor the old longhorn; he
was able to furnish his own transportation to all the markets before the advent of railroads.

Polished Longhorns- These horns are cleaned and polished to show the unique, natural
color and beauty. Mounts are wrapped in a high quality cowhide and mounted to a finished
solid oak mounting plaque.
Natural Longhorns- These longhorns look just as they did when on the animal. They
offer a rough more rustic look. They are wrapped in a stone oil sealed cowhide and mounted
to a plaque made from reclaimed barn board.
Most horns will be partially disassembled for shipping. Assembly is simple and anyone can

This is a massive twisting pair of natural horns measuring 90 inches from tip to tip with each horn measuring 38 inches from tip to base. Horns have been lightly sanded to bring out the colors. The center leather is dark brown and the outsides are brown. The mounting plaque is made from reclaimed barn wood.
